Uneven Boobs

We all know that, like our feet, faces, hands and everything else, our breasts tend to be uneven in size.  This can become exaggerated while breastfeeding.  It did for me, because I had mastitis three times with each kid, and always on the same side.  It decreased milk production, hence size, etc. It wasn’t noticeable; you just live with it.

Well, yesterday I made a startling discovery.  With the current bra style I’d been wearing for several years, one side was always a bit puffier.  Then yesterday, dear women (men, if you are reading this, I apologize), I put on my bra and noticed it was a little off-center.  I scootched it to the right and . . . voilà . . . I was suddenly even.  No unsightly bulge in the tee shirt.  I can’t believe it.  For a good five years I’ve been dealing with “uneven breasts” because I couldn’t get my bra on straight.

This, my friends, is why I call it “catching joy in life’s most awkward moments.” Joy in knowing I can now wear my tee shirts without fear of embarrassment.
